Water is paramount to all life setups on the planet.  This is why we take hydration pretty seriously. Accordingly, for illustration, you may question, “what water brand is good for you?” Or “can you get sick from drinking old bottled water?” Some people may even try to google “how to make bottled water alkaline?”

All these concerns are justified considering 70% of our physiology incorporates water. Moreover, in the current state of pollution, we often go for bottled water since the blue seal below the cap confirms purity.

However, it’s now time to break your bubble. This is because your favorite water brand might be selling contaminated bottled water.

1. FDA Warns

The FDA released new research this week. It suggests a particular type of bottled water may be responsible for several cases of non-viral hepatitis in youngsters. Moreover, the organization is now advising everyone to avoid it.

Therefore, if you’re wondering what water brand is good for you, it’s not this one.

As per the agency, five incidences of severe non-viral hepatitis caused severe liver failure in newborns and young toddlers.

On more investigation, all the children had the great value alkaline water from the Real Water brand. In addition, they had all recovered after suffering in November 2020.

The FDA said additional members of the children’s four homes also became ill. However, they had less apparent illnesses, including fever, sickness, lack of appetite, and exhaustion.

2. Boycott Real Water

Is bottled alkaline water good for you? The problem isn’t that the water is alkaline. Instead, the disease source might be another component in the water.

Regardless, the FDA has shown prominent concern over the matter. They have issued announcements publicly informing people to throw away Real Water from their storage.

Additionally, they are contacting eateries and restaurants to inform them not to cook with or serve this brand.

3. Finding the Root Cause

Once the five cases of hepatitis came into the limelight, FDA joined hands with the CDC to get to the root of the problem. The two agencies are conducting extensive research to comprehend what causes the disease.

Meanwhile, for those who drink the water, the agency asked them to stay vigilant for symptoms. Therefore, get an impromptu physiological assessment if you feel any hepatitis symptoms.

4. The Consequences

Real Water faces a legal battle as one family went to the law due to this health emergency. If you’re still wondering what water brand is good for you, take Real Water off the list.
