The coronavirus pandemic is in full swing once more and in the era of this omicron, the future doesn’t look too bright. Though there are many variants of the virus still rampant in many parts of the world, the vaccinations have promptly put an end to their threat and now the only major threat that we can see in the future actually comes from the omicron variant.
Despite people being vaccinated against the virus, it seems that inoculation in itself will not be enough to keep up with the increasing rates of disease contraction. Yes, in the past week alone, we have seen an increase of about 16% in positive cases.
This is going to come as a major shock, but in some parts of the world, this number goes as high as 25%, which means that the pandemic is still at large and that there have to be effective measures taken to stop it.
At the very forefront of this long drawn out and arduous battle against this very virulent strain of virus is a man who is looking to make a difference in how we perceive and deal with this virus. This is not your average joe, this man is dr Fauci and he is an expert in the field of virology and disease transmission.

It is, according to him, in these troubling and tumultuous times, that we have to seek solace in the vaccine, and now more than ever, people should really get to looking into their booster shots because booster shots really raise the chance that you will get the kick that you need from your immune system to fight off the virus effectively.
Because as you all know, there is a significant chance of contracting the disease again if you had already got it once, and if that happens, it could be more fatal than the first time because like we said the virus is evolving and it is trying to find new ways to attack and capture its host.
If you have unfortunately come down with the virus, it is of paramount importance that you, first of all, not panic. That would only create more disarray and you would needlessly expose the pathogens to others.
Keep yourself isolated and minimize all contact with the world. Stay in a separate room if possible and while you are at it, keep your entire body sanitized, especially your hands and your face.
The efficacy and the efficiency of the vaccines are only about 90% and so this is a pretty big health hazard, particularly for people that are either too young or too old.

If this is the case, then hospitalization might be the best option. While the threat of the full swing of the virus has died down, it is still very important to stay up-to-date with your booster shots.
