Coronavirus has spread vastly in the past two years affecting over 84 million people in the U.S. The deadly virus has affected both the unvaccinated and the vaccinated community with Khloe Kardashian and former President Barak Obama being a few examples.
According to the studies, it is said that the vaccines are not 100% effective, resulting in almost 95000 new cases reported each day.
The Surge in the Cases is Quite Alarming, let’s See What We Can Do About It!
The current state of the pandemic was discussed in an interview by the Covid adviser Anthony Fauci on PIX on Politics on May 29.

A weekly show was held in the New York White House in which they said that the current rate of Covid cases is higher than the CDC’s report.
The total number of cases visible on media is deceitful since a lot of cases are not being made official with the invention of home testing kits.
Fauci is sad to announce that even if we manage to bring case and hospitalization numbers down, unfortunately, we still wouldn’t be able to get rid of the virus itself.
There is no way we can permanently eliminate COVID from our lives, but dealing with covid on a chronic basis is likely to be more fruitful.
The Critical Role of Boosters
The primary goal is to reduce the intensity of the situation so that the virus circulates at a much slower pace. This goal is achievable only if the public cooperates and takes the booster shot.
It is reported that, so far, only 66.7% of the population is vaccinated and 46.7% of people have come in for their booster shots. This is not sufficient yet.
The eligibility age for the 3rd or 4th booster shot is 12 and above and this isn’t what we should compromise on. While talking further about the vaccination, the fourth dose (second booster shot) has also been introduced in the market by CDC and U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
It is strongly recommended that people aged 50 and above who have gotten their third shot should be registering themselves for the fourth one with a gap of four months.
Are you not considered eligible for the second booster shot? Fauci recommends getting regular boosters as we proceed with the pandemic. Our priority should be building our immunity to keep ourselves aloof from the fatal virus.
Fauci adds that as the research on this virus continues, we are most likely to end up re-boosting people for protection just as we did once for influenza. This points out the fact that this virus is here to stay.
