1. Baking Soda Uses

The popular substance known as baking soda has several applications. This household supply is typically kept in the fridge to eliminate kitchen aromas or in the cupboard for baking reasons. Yet baking soda is capable of so much more than that—literally anything.

In addition to many other uses, baking soda is a great home cleanser, soak bath, breath purifier, odor remover, and others. These are some of the basics of what that container of baking soda can accomplish for your daily health and beauty routine while sitting in your cupboard.

2. Baking Soda in a Foot Bath

Fill a basin that fits both your feet with warm water, then add three to four tablespoons of baking soda and mix for the substance to distribute evenly. Next, put your feet in this soak bath.

Baking soda will function as a foot exfoliator, and will help ease any irritation or itching that we usually feel in our heels; it will overall cleanse your entire feet.

Baking soda will also serve as an odor remover if your feet tend to absorb the filthy smell of shoes, which mainly stems from sweat and a lack of aeration.

3. Baking Soda Paste

Baking soda paste is an ideal alternative for an actual foot exfoliator. To make one, mix 3 parts of baking soda and 1 part of water; the consistency will be somewhat thick. After your delightful soak bath, take off your feet out of the basin and slightly dry them with a towel.

Next, apply the paste on your feet, notably your heels and beneath your finger toes where calluses mostly are, on the towel that you previously laid flat. After gently massaging the paste onto your feet, let it sit for about 15 minutes, then rinse it off.

Foot care is as important as body and hair care. Your feet deserve to be taken care of as well. Therefore, do not hesitate to try the above foot bath at least twice a month to enjoy soft baby feet all the time.
