Cranberry Chicken Salad Wedge Sandwiches have been recalled because the product label failed to clearly disclose egg as an allergen. If you bought one of these sandwiches in Georgia or Florida, Big Laps recommends checking your refrigerator.
FreshPoint Central Florida issued the notification on September 4, 2026; the FDA published it on September 8, 2026. The recall is for 1,093 units of specific lots sent to one convenience store chain with locations in Florida and Georgia.
Which Product is Recalled?
The sandwiches that are recalled are the product of Created Fresh! brand. The affected product is a 4.5-ounce Cranberry Chicken Salad Wedge Sandwich in a clear plastic sandwich lunch bag, as per the FDA.

- Brand name: Created Fresh!
- UPC: 766375109617
- Size: 4.5 oz
- Best before dates: September 3 to September 17, 2026
The sandwiches were distributed between August 19 and September 3, 2026. The use-by date is clearly stamped on the bag. All of the listed use-by dates have now passed, so any sandwich still in your refrigerator should be discarded.
Why Was It Recalled?
The label didn’t properly declare egg. The required allergen “Contains” statement doesn’t include eggs in it. However, eggs are mentioned in the ingredients section on the package.
The error was caught during a label review. If eaten, a life-threatening allergic reaction can happen to people who are allergic to eggs.
At the time these recall notices were issued, no illnesses had been reported.
Check the Date on Your Sandwich
If you have one in your refrigerator, check the use-by date.
The recall dates are September 3 to 17, 2026. You can also take a look at the product and see its listed UPC, 766375109617.
The recall doesn’t apply to all the products offered by Created Fresh!. It is for the specified Created Fresh! product.
The product may already be in your refrigerator, so it is important to check the package against the recall information. Before using the product, check its use-by dates and the UPC against the recall details. If it matches the recalled product’s identifying information, discard it.
