It might seem like the pandemic is over because everyone is back to traveling, masks are no longer being required in public spaces, and big group gatherings are now allowed with no restrictions. Although that might be true, we cannot trust this just yet and this article will show you exactly why.

So keep reading to know the 8 places where you are most likely to catch coronavirus since many states in America seem to still be keeping case numbers existent.

1. Bars and restaurants

These 2 are the first places that coronavirus seems to spread quite easily; they have been and will always be the number one place in which this virus thrives when it comes to transmission.

This happens because bars and restaurants are where hundreds of people come in contact, not to mention that almost everything in them gets touched by people who can have the virus already.

Aside from that, people inside bars and restaurants are able to wear masks for obvious practicality reasons and they are usually pretty close to one another when having a conversation, slowly this charges the air since it is most likely a closed space.

Experts are saying that you can still go out and have fun, but you have to check the safety measures used in that place. For example, is everyone staying 6 feet away from each other and are they wearing their masks?

2. Gym and fitness centers

This is very similar to bars and restaurants being a hotspot for the spread of coronavirus. Everyone is constantly touching everything, and most people are not wearing their masks when doing so.

Not to mention that sometimes the gym is not that big, and the ventilation is not great either, so the air gets stuffy quite easily.

3. Places with high air pollution

Big cities are known for their great opportunities for sure, but they are also known for their pollution. It is not possible at this day and age for a city to be big without it being polluted, these two unfortunately go hand in hand.

To add to that, a study confirmed that air pollution can in fact add to the spread of coronavirus.

Many people are under risk, especially those with any breathing conditions, if you are one, wear your mask when going outside.

4. Schools

Schools are occupied with kids who are touching everything and often forgetting to wash their hands. Not to mention that they simply do not grasp the concept of keeping their distance from their classmates, so it is hard to keep the spread to a limit.

5. Planes, trains, and cruises

If you pay attention, you’ll notice a pattern that keeps repeating itself when it comes to the spread of the virus, which is closed spaces.

This is how the virus lingers and gets passed to other people who could be doing everything correct. Trains, planes, and cruises fall into this category as well, especially that masks have been lifted.

6. Crowded beaches and pools

As professionals recommend, anywhere that you have to go, you need to see if they are following strict preventative measures to limit the spread of the virus or not. If any place seems too crowded, then it is not worth risking an infection for.

7. Sporting events and festivals

No matter the nature of the event, anything that brings together a large gathering of people puts you at the risk of infection, so make sure your mask stays on.

8. Indoor social gatherings

Last but not least, even if the gathering is indoors, it still increases the risk of catching the virus. If you really need to meet people and attend events, at least go for open air gatherings.
