1. A quick-onset headache

If you are experiencing pain in your head that is unexplainable, sudden, and especially if it is totally unbearable, then that is a sign you should not ignore. That pain could be due to a condition called aneurysm.

To put it simply, it’s basically a bulge in the wall of an artery. If this goes untreated, then it could be potentially life threatening. If this happens, call an ambulance as quickly as possible.

2. Tooth pain when you drink something cold

This one gets linked back mainly to tooth sensitivity. If the enamel starts to not be as strong and decay, then that exposes the internal nerves to becoming more sensitive, hence the pain you feel when you drink or eat something too cold.

Aside from tooth sensitivity, you might also have an infection that could spread elsewhere in your body.

3. Any pain through the hand, wrist, and forearm

If you feel any pain or particularly a numbing sensation through your hand and wrist, then that might be a condition that is called carpal tunnel syndrome. If ignored, you could risk losing function of your hand.

4. Pain all over your chest

This can be a very obvious sign of a heart attack. The pain might be in different areas as well, but it is mainly centered in the chest.

5. Dull pain in the mid-back

If this pain comes with other symptoms like fever and nausea, then the problem might be your kidneys. If the treatment is delayed or overlooked, it may end up causing irreversible damage to them, or even blood poisoning.

6. Pain that runs from the lower back to the legs

This is a very common sign of sciatica. Sciatica happens either through the nerve being affected or because of an injury, either way, it could be damaging if left untreated.

7. Pain in the lower right of your gut

If this is accompanied by nausea and/or vomiting or fever, then you could be experiencing appendicitis. This is life-threatening if the appendix explodes.

8. Pain in the pelvis or abdomen

This is usually normal for women, but if it gets worse, then it might be a condition called endometriosis. This condition needs medical attention.

9. Cramping pain in the leg

This is sometimes normal, but some other times, it could signify having a blood clot known as deep-vein thrombosis.

10. Lasting pins and needles in your feet
